There are 6 lines on the test strip: the control line, ceftriaxone line, cephalexin line, beta-lactam line, tetracycline line, and sulfonamide line, which are briefly referred to as “Line C,” “Line T1,” “Line T2,” “Line T3,” “Line T4,” and “Line T5.” The test results depend on the color of these lines. The diagram below explains how to determine the result.

• Invalid: If Line C does not show any color, the test will be invalid.

• Negative:

• For tetracycline: Regardless of the intensity of the color, if Line T4 appears, the result is negative.
• For ceftriaxone, cephalexin, beta-lactam, and sulfonamide: Compare the color of Line T1/T2/T3/T5 with Line C. If the color of Line T1/T2/T3/T5 is darker than Line C, the result will be negative.

• Positive:

• For tetracycline: If Line T4 does not appear, the result is positive.
• For ceftriaxone, cephalexin, beta-lactam, and sulfonamide: Compare the color of Line T1/T2/T3/T5 with Line C. If the color of Line T1/T2/T3/T5 is the same or lighter than Line C, the result will be positive. If none of the lines except Line C appear, the result will still be positive.

• Important note: Line C serves as a quality indicator, and it will always appear, regardless of the test lines. If the control line does not appear, the result is invalid. Users should recheck the kit and repeat the test with a new test strip.
